Project Manager / Estimator – Electrical (Bathurst)

Kelso Electrical is a growing multi-discipline contractor with over 50+ staff across electrical, civil, communications, energy, fire, security, HVAC and hazardous services. We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator who can take ownership of both winning work and delivering it. This is a hybrid role
- you’ll be involved from tender through to completion, across domestic, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, HV and renewable projects. What you’ll do
- Prepare accurate electrical estimates and tenders
- Review drawings, scope, and tender documentation
- Conduct site inspections and cost planning
- Manage projects from award through to completion
- Oversee procurement, scheduling, subcontractors and budgets
- Manage project financials (forecasting, variations, P&L;)
- Maintain strong client relationships and repeat business
- Identify value engineering and margin improvement opportunities What we’re looking for
- Electrical estimating and/or project management experience
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction standards
- Commercial mindset (budgets, margins, forecasting)
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with tools like Aroflo / Bluebeam / MS Suite (preferred) Desirable
- Electrical Engineering qualification
- ASP Level 1 & 2 / HV experience
