About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cluster Director of Sales to lead the commercial success of two premier properties in the Blue Mountains: Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains and Comfort Resort Leura Gardens. Reporting to the Portfolio Director of Sales & Marketing, this is an exciting prospect for a passionate sales leader to drive revenue growth, foster strong client relationships, and inspire a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Executives, Event Planners, and Group Reservations professionals
- Drive revenue across Corporate, Leisure, Conferences, and Events and other group segments
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain robust relationships with key clients, partners, and agencies
- Collaborate closely with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to maximise occupancy and profitability
- Oversee event sales and planning processes to ensure exceptional client experiences
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and performance metrics to inform strategy
- Represent the properties at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- This position is full-time Monday to Friday (occasional weekends will be required). About You
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within hospitality, hotels, or resorts
- Strong track record in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills
- Experience managing MICE, corporate, and group segments
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Opera Cloud & Delphi systems is an advantage
- Knowledge of the Blue Mountains market (preferred but not essential) What We Offer
