Cleaner - Everleigh State School (Beaudesert)

Everleigh State School is seeking a motivated and reliable cleaner to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of our school by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. We strive for continuous improvement in access to quality teaching, learning and assessment of the Australian Curriculum. About The Role As the Cleaner you will have responsibility for the following:
- Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
- Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces. Please view the role descreiption for a full list of responsibilities. Within the context of the role described above, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:

- Capability to apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning equipment and materials.

- Awareness of the need for security in relation to rooms and buildings, personal property and equipment.
