This is achieved through effective supervision of SCT company drivers and Sub-contractors and fleet equipment in line with all COR and compliance regulations.

The position is responsible for supervising all fleet activity throughout the Fleet operations.
- Effective & effective planning and scheduling of pickups & deliveries to meet required delivery dates.
- Monitoring and supporting activities of drivers and standard of vehicles to ensure SCT and customer expectation are achieved.
- Ensure all Drivers are compliant regarding fatigue management, vehicle defect reports and relevant legislative requirements.
- Allocation of drivers for scheduled pickups.
- Allocating Loscam, CHEP freight pallets for delivery & recording of such details to ensure compliance with traceability for reconciliation purposes.
- Finalisation of the Fleet utilisation spreadsheet is to be completed daily
- The DNDO screen is to be updated daily to accurately reflect the position of every sales order
- The DNDI screen is to be updated daily to accurately reflect the position of every sales order
- The daily update of fatigue management systems and reporting of non
- conformances to the QLD Operations Manager & QLD State Manager.
- Shipment reporting is to be completed in full, daily.
- All backloads are to be made up in advance and communicated to the relevant Managers and Supervisors, including correct equipment allocations.
- Local customer shipments are to be compiled prior to product being picked up from the customer.
- Customer KPI’s are to be met when planning freight.
- Daily update of Trailer & Truck maintenance requirements
- Manage team of Drivers and Forklift operators
- Entering & updating of data into the SAP on a daily basis for QLD based drivers and reporting anomalies immediately to the appropriate Managers.
- Customer Service enquiries.
- Manifesting and printing Run and Load sheets on a daily basis where required.
- Responsibility and Printing of pallet dockets for each load as required.
- Assisting in the returns and damages process as required.
- Ensuring all Inbound & Outbound line hauls are manifested correctly, scanned correctly & loaded correctly.
- Ensuring all vehicles is loaded correctly.
- Ensure all shipments are completed accurately & on time.
- Ensure all Sales Orders are delivered on time in QLD. Update Sales Order’s with delivery completion within the required delivery date. Where deliveries will miss the required delivery time, the sending branch is to be notified immediately and plans to deliver asap made to minimize customer impact.
- Ensure communications are proactive and prompt regarding delays of all incoming freight.
- Reports all incidents, hazards and nears misses immediately and completes the incident reports.
- Work in a manner which will not endanger himself or herself, or any other person.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that ensures SCT is recognized as safe, reliable and a quality supplier of related services.
- Participate, as required in Risk Assessments, Inspections and operational meetings as required that affect the Parkes Branch.
- Maintaining a clean & safe workplace & follow WH&S; procedures at all times
