Black Dog Gallery is a contemporary Japanese café based in Adelaide, proudly serving the local community for over 10 years. We offer Japanese-inspired food in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, focusing on fresh ingredients, seasonal flavours and carefully crafted dishes. Qualifications and work experience:
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification (preferred)
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to obtain
- At least 2 years of experience working as a cook in a café, restaurant or similar setting Skills required: 1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes on the café menu 2. Maintain high standards of food quality, taste and presentation 3. Manage kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking and plating 4. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and receiving 5. Ensure a clean, secure and organised kitchen in line with food safety standards 6.
