4WD Workshop Assistant/ Accessories Installer (Stapylton)

An exciting opportunity has become available for a mechanically minded and motivated person to join our growing team in Stapylton on the Northern Gold Coast. We are an established and rapidly growing business operating across both our workshop and warehouse divisions, specialising in 4WD accessories, servicing, installations, and customer support. We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in what they do, and has a genuine interest in vehicles and the 4WD industry. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the business, with no two days the same. About the Role This role will involve a mix of:
- 4WD accessory fitting and installations
- General workshop duties
- Tyre fitting and wheel alignments
- Assisting with servicing and mechanical work
- Warehouse/store assistance and dispatch during busy periods
- Supporting the wider team across workshop and warehouse operations What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will:
- Be mechanically minded with a genuine interest in cars and 4WDs
- Have experience with tools, workshop environments, or automotive accessories
- Be reliable, punctual, and motivated
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have strong attention to detail and take pride in their work
- Be adaptable and willing to assist across different areas of the business
- Have good communication and problem-solving skills
- Be physically capable of manual handling tasks
- Hold a current Australian driver licence Highly Regarded (But Not Essential)
- Experience with 4WD accessories and installations
- Tyre fitting and wheel alignment experience
- Basic mechanical servicing knowledge
- Experience in warehouse or dispatch environments
- Automotive or trade qualifications Formal qualifications are welcomed, however attitude, reliability, initiative, and willingness to learn are highly valued. What We Offer
- Casual position with up to 38 hours per week
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
- Flexible start/finish times negotiable for the right person
- Competitive hourly rate: $30-$45 per hour based on experience
