Carroll Engineering Services are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Electrical Engineering Technician to join their team in Stapylton QLD.
This position includes maintaining and operating the rubber processing plant. This will involve knowledge of electrical systems to troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment associated with the repair and operation of the plant equipment.
Tasks Include:
- Assist with the maintenance, repairs and operation of the following rubber processing plant equipment:
~ Conveyors ~ Shredders ~ Gear boxes ~ Raspers ~ Granulators ~ Dust extraction systems
- Perform inspections and regular maintenance checks on electrical systems
- Participate in the commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment when new equipment is installed
- Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions to identify and rectify faults.
Qualifications & Skills:
Certifications and experience:
- Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Previous relevant experience, 3 years fulltime or equivalent or relevant post qualification experience
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Solid understanding of electrical principles, systems, and components. Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
Salary range is $70,000
- $85,000pa commensurate with experience.
Fulltime Position available
