This role offers the opportunity to influence project outcomes early and play a key part in expanding market presence across QLD. Client Details Our client is an creative supplier of high-performance building materials designed to enhance safety, fire protection and acoustic performance in commercial construction. With a growing footprint across Australia, they are well positioned to capitalise on increasing demand for smarter, more efficient construction solutions. Description This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of growth across Queensland and play a key role in expanding market share. Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales activity across the commercial construction sector. Key responsibilities include
- Building and developing relationships with architects, builders and developers
- Driving early-stage specification to influence product selection on projects
- Managing a pipeline of projects from design through to completion
- Delivering technical presentations on product innovations
- Identifying new business opportunities and driving project growth across QLD
- Collaborating with internal teams to support project delivery and successful outcomes
- This is a hands-on, growth-focused role where you will have real influence over strategy, pipeline development and market penetration. Profile
- Proven experience selling into the commercial construction market, particularly to architects and specifiers
- Background in insulation, cladding, façade or technically driven building materials
- Strong understanding of project-based sales cycles and specification processes
- Commercially driven with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
- Confident presenting technical solutions to a range of stakeholders
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a role with autonomy and ownership Job Offer
- Competitive base salary of 100k-120k + Super + Tools of the Trade

- Quarterly commission structure
