About the Role: We are looking for a creative Marketing & Social Media Assistant to help us produce content that actually gets attention. We are not looking for someone to simply post on social media. We want someone with big ideas, bold concepts, and a natural knack for creating kickass content. Someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling and can turn a truck build, workshop moment, event, product, or behind-the-scenes clip into engaging content. At Unidan, our culture is second to none. We work hard, back each other, and build some of the most unique 4x4 and Unimog vehicles in the country. From off-road builds and emergency fleet projects to events, travel, product launches, and workshop content, there is always something worth capturing. This role would suit someone creative, switched on, and confident with social media. You do not need years of marketing experience. You might be fresh out of school, studying marketing/media, running your own page, or simply someone who has grown up around social media and knows how to create content that performs. A passion for 4x4, off-roading, camping, vehicles, adventure, or the automotive industry would be highly sought after. If you already love this world, you will have no shortage of ideas here. What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating social media content ideas, reels, stories, captions, and short-form videos
- Producing your own content while working alongside our in-house media creator
- Managing social media platforms, including posting, scheduling, monitoring, and responding to comments
- Helping build our online presence and grow engagement across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
- Assisting with marketing campaigns across social media, email, website, and digital advertising
- Supporting regular campaign follow-ups to help drive enquiries, sales, customer engagement, and repeat business
- Assisting with email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, building layouts, scheduling sends, and reviewing performance
- Creating website content, including portfolio pages, project updates, product pages, and general website copy
- Keeping up with trends, content opportunities, and platform changes What We’re Looking For
- Someone creative, motivated, and full of ideas
- Confidence creating reels, stories, captions, and social media posts
- A strong understanding of what makes content engaging
- Interest or experience in social media, email marketing, campaigns, and website content
- A passion for 4x4, off-road vehicles, camping, adventure, or automotive content is highly regarded
- Experience creating content for personal pages, community pages, business pages, or platforms with a large following is highly regarded
- Basic knowledge of Google Ads and Google Analytics is a bonus
- Good written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn, improve, and get stuck in About You You do not need a polished corporate marketing background. We are more interested in your creativity, attitude, ideas, and ability to create content that gets people talking.
