Maintenance Fitter (Beenleigh)

Maintenance Fitter (Stapylton QLD) Immediate start! Join a family-owned Australian timber manufacturer with over 30 years of industry experience. Supplying high-quality timber, pallets, and packaging solutions across Australia and internationally. We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a state-of-the-art Timber Facility, in Gilberton QLD. Duties (included but not limited to):
- Fault finding and troubleshooting machine issues
- Scheduling/planning
- General maintenance on all machines within the facility
- Evaluating, designing, and improving preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
- Adhering to all safety procedures in place to ensure effective and adequate production results Requirements:
- Certificate in Mechanical Fitting / Maintenance Fitting / Diesel Fitting or equivalent Mechanical Trade
- Prior experience working as a Mechanical Fitter in a Manufacturing/Factory/Production environment
- working on Fixed Plant Equipment
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as within a team and provide support to operators
- Current QLD Driver's License & reliable transport
- LF Forklift License (highly regarded) What's on offer:
