We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Rostering Officer to our team in Beenleigh. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective rostering practices to ensure the seamless delivery of support to our clients.
**About the role** As the Rostering Officer, you will play a key part in the allocation of staff, ensuring that shifts are filled in a timely manner, and that rosters comply with relevant awards and legislation. You will collaborate with case managers, support workers, and management to create effective rosters, manage employee availability, and respond to rostering inquiries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Populating and updating rosters in a timely manner
- Ensuring shifts are filled to minimise disruption to client support
- Processing annual leave and availability requests
- Auditing timesheets for payroll processing
- Setting up and managing ongoing rosters
- Coordinating the rostering of recent employees
- Monitoring employee hours to ensure compliance
- Responding to and managing employee queries
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Interpreting awards and relevant legislation
**About You**
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar rostering role
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Robust computer literacy, including rostering software and MS Office
- Ability to interpret the SCHADS Award
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Strong organisation, time management and coordination skills
- Current unencumbered Class C Driver’s License
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
