Direct Support Worker - Aged Care (Beenleigh)

**We're on the lookout for committed individuals like yourself, eager to create genuine impact! We're hiring casual Direct Support Workers to assist our Aged Care clients residing across Logan!**

**Your contribution**:

- Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing and personal hygiene
- Administering medications
- Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry or meal preparation
- Assisting clients between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Community engagement, such as attending doctors appointments, grocery shopping or other social or recreational activities of their choice

**About you**:

- ** Are looking for a change from aged care facilities and have the opportunity to build one to one rapport with your aged care clients**:

- Are outstanding communicators dedicated to providing the best service for every person
- Are even better listeners who can work autonomously, as well as under direction and within a team environment
- Calm and confident in all different environments and understand the importance of professional boundaries
- ** Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care is highly desirable**:

- Can provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity to our clients
- Believe in an inclusive society and value client focus, respect, inclusion, integrity, excellence, and courage
- ** Australian Open Drivers License and full comprehensive car insurance**:

- Variety of shifts available Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am
- 5pm
- Have the capacity to travel to clients homes

**Before you commence, you will need**:

- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
- Australian Open Drivers License and full comprehensive car insurance
- A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 and up operating system or an Android 6.0 and up operating system
