Warehouse Supervisor (Yatala)

We are looking for a warehouse supervisor to join our client, a global leader in earthmoving and construction industry. They are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a driven and dedicated Warehouse Supervisor (Coach) to join thier team at the Queensland Distribution Centre (QDC) located in Yatala.

**Role Overview**: Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the afternoon shift operations from Monday to Friday, working from Midday to 8pm. The primary responsibility of this role involves leading and supervising a team of approximately 10-15 operational staff to ensure the smooth execution of warehouse activities and meet client requirements. As a leader, you will drive change, mentor, coach, and foster a culture of continuous improvement while upholding our company values.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain high employee safety standards and adherence to procedures.
- Conduct daily Process Improvement Dialogues and ad hoc staff presentations.
- Supervise smooth warehouse operations daily.
- Achieve area and facility-wide KPI targets.
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff
- Plan daily workforce and operations.
- Provide weekly key reports & analyze daily operational data.
- Uphold professionalism and confidentiality.

**Requirements**:

- Proven leadership (3-5 years in supervisory roles)
- Effective interpersonal and communication prowess
- Confidence in public speaking
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Project, and Access
- Strong analytical skills Exceptional team-building aptitude
- Skilled in report writing
- Experienced in continuous improvement environments; familiarity with methodologies like 6
- Sigma and Client Production System (CPS) is beneficial
- Previous involvement in rapid-paced warehousing/logistics settings
