Our main manufacturing and operations base is located at YATALA in Queensland (between the Gold Coast and Brisbane). We are only a 10-minute drive North of Dreamworld, on the M1 Motorway. THE ROLE: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Engineering team. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for routine maintenance and breakdown work, of Triple M's machinery, facilities, fittings and equipment. The role is diverse; across diverse tasks, relying on flexibility and a can- do attitude to achieve success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out preventative maintenance and general repair of machine breakdowns, forklift and fault findings.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery, buildings, grounds, fittings and equipment to ensure continued service and operation.
- Maintain high levels of operator safety and communication, compliance with all WH&S; requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement through training and development. REQUIREMENTS:
- Recent maintenance experience of plant, machinery, factory equipment in an Engineeringor Manufacturing operations
- highly regarded.
- Key knowledge/recent experience of Water Treatment and Zinc Electroplating Process
- highly regarded.
- Forklift Maintenance
- highly regarded.
- Experience in Press brake, Turrets and CNC machines
- highly regarded.
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter, Fitter/Turneror Fitter qualification
- a must.
- Previous experience using the MEX maintenance system or any knowledge on similar systems
- highly regarded.
- Flexible, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Hold a current Queensland manual driver's licence.
- Current QLD forklift licence
- highly regarded.
- Must be punctual, reliable and available for work Monday to Friday, from 3:00pm
