Maintenance Fitter Stapylton

Ventora Glass QLD, part of the Ventora Group, operate a site in Yatala which houses a range of processes including cutting, finishing, heat treatment and coating glass for a range of customers using both semi and fully automatic machinery. The site has approximately 80 employees over 2 shifts.

Due to growth within the business, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our small Engineering team.

Required Attributes:

Have a minimum of 3 years well-rounded experience as a Maintenance Fitter or in the servicing of machinery.

Be trade qualified in a related discipline or equivalent experience.

All round mechanical ability including fitting, welding, minor fabrication and the ability to perform small machining works.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high quality preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of fully automatic and semi automatic machines in a secure manner.

Conduct machine inspections, installation and be part of improvement works.

The ability to fault find and rectify production stopping issues quickly and safely.

Work with a CMMS system and record data.

Help maintain a clean and productive workshop and storage areas.
