After The Bell Aus is seeking **Qualified Child Care Educators** who are energetic, dedicated, and passionate educators who enjoy caring for children in a School-Aged setting at our **Mooloolah State School (Before School, After School and Vacation Care) program.**

**Assistant Position-**
- Part-time and casual position on offer
- Hours: up to 10-15 hours per week (during school term time) and up to 35 hours per week (school holiday period).

**The Roles-**
- **Able to work 3-4 days per week
- **During School Term Time: 7am till 9am and 2.30pm till 6pm) and during School Holidays (6-10hrs daily shift
- with breaks).
- Ability to provide an environment that is engaging, secure, hygienic, and safe for children aged 5 to 12 years.
- Have an understanding and experience in managing children with different behavioral needs and the ability to build relationships with children to support their particular needs.
- Willing to understand and follow Child Care Government Framework requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with families, school staff, and colleagues to build strong relationships across the school community.
- Create a welcoming setting and a positive team workplace.

**Essential Criteria-**
- Diploma in Children's Services or Teaching Degree or Sport or Allied Health or Outside School Hours Care or equivalent or currently studying in an approved course.
- Previous experience working and caring for children is desirable.
- Resides in the Sunshine Coast Region and can travel to work.
- First Aid Training Level HLTA0012 or willing to obtain before commencement.
- Protection Training or willing to obtain before commencement
- A current Working With Children Check (P status).
- *The hourly rate is based on how many years you have held your credentials or years of study, if the credentials meet the qualification training criteria, you are working part time or casual and the hourly rate is superannuation additional. _

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:
