The Role

Our Ridge street site services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural and processed cheeses. These include the renown Bega cheese blocks
- mild, tasty, and vintage, shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, colby, mozzarella and burger slice cheeses and an exciting new Lactose and Dairy Free range.

The purpose of the role of the Casual Production Operator is to supplement production or permanent staff levels for specific purposes Production Operators are responsible for a variety of food handling and product monitoring tasks, add and remove product from conveyors, rework rejected product and restock items used in production processes.

There are Day Shift & Afternoon Shift available from Monday to Friday. There is no requirement to work Night Shift or Weekends.

Responsibilities- Accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing, and production-related documents- Monitor, identify and reject non-conforming product- Be organized for product changes according to the Team Leader and planned daily scheduling.- General housekeeping to ensuring production areas are cleaned up to quality standards- Adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedures

About you- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn- Effective communication skill and a team player- Basic computer skill and attention to detail- Good problem-solving skill
