**The Opportunity**: We have an opportunity for a capable individual to you will coordinate the financial administration of the Council’s disaster recovery function by implementing and managing financial control systems and reporting processes.
As an Operations Administration Officer, you will provide a range of administrative services to support the Disaster Recovery team, such as preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes for various internal and external meetings. Additionally, you will record and manage disaster recovery information using appropriate systems, including CRM platforms, and support regulatory compliance for Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements. This includes managing submissions and records for Emergency Works, Immediate Reconstruction Work, and Restoration of Essential Public Assets in RECOVER Software.

**About You**: We are seeking an individual who possesses a Certificate IV in Financial Management, Administration, or a related field, along with at least two years of relevant work experience in administration or a similar area.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Proven experience delivering prompt high level customer service in Disaster Recovery.
- Proven experience in administering disaster recovery claims, form 306 and natural disaster declaration and estimation related documentation.
- High level written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
**Advantages**: This is a fixed term full time position working 35 hours per week for a period of twelve (12) months.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $88,523.86 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1,526.80 per week base salary
- $175.58 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
