Main Duties

Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment

Troubleshooting production machinery and factory electrical faults

Performing preventive and breakdown maintenance

Maintaining motors, conveyors, pumps, sensors, PLCs, and control systems

Reading electrical drawings and technical schematics

Supporting continuous improvement and automation projects

Ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace safety regulations

Testing electrical equipment and recording maintenance activities

Working with maintenance teams, engineers, and production staff

Responding to emergency equipment breakdowns

Common Requirements

Australian Electrical Licence

Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician

Industrial or manufacturing experience preferred

Knowledge of PLCs and automated systems

Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime

Robust troubleshooting and safety skills
