The Role Abervale retirement village is perfectly positioned in the leafy Geelong suburb of Grovedale, surrounded by landscaped gardens and a boasting a vibrant community or retirees. Working under the guidance of the Village Manager, you will be assisting with all gardening activities such as:

- Maintenance of common garden areas including mowing, whipper snipping, weeding, pruning, picking up leaves/rubbish, green waste management, and tools/equipment maintenance.
- Mowing of resident lawns (front and backyard of the villas)

As you will be working alongside a team and our many residents, a customer-service focus is essential, along with a genuine interest in assisting the elderly. Your Background
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated Gardening knowledge of plants, growth patterns, protected work practices for fertilisers and other chemicals.
- Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job
- Organisation skills and the ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks whilst working independently
- Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety legislation

The Shifts
- 2 Days per week or 4 Days per fortnight!
- 8am -4pm
