Unlock Your Potential as a Category Finance Manager The Category Finance Manager is the commercial business partner and P&L; owner for the ANZ Taste Elevation cluster—one of our largest and most strategically important portfolios, including Heinz Ketchup, Heinz Mayonnaise, and the Gravox brand.

In this role, you will partner with the Head of Taste Elevation and help shape the portfolio by owning the business cases for the innovation, renovation, and value engineering. You will also drive performance through monthly reporting and forecast reviews, translating insights into action in partnership with Marketing, Category, Revenue Management, and Sales. In addition, you will support building the annual operating plan and three-year plan, ensuring a strong pipeline of initiatives to grow the Taste Elevation portfolio.

Key responsibilities
- Own cluster performance: by conducting variance analysis on the YTD P&L;, deriving insights and prescribing corrective measures
- Lead forecast: review changes to the cluster forecast cycle on cycle and challenge where required, manage cluster risks and opportunities and participate in the relevant Integrated Business Planning (IBP) forums
- Support the Plan: provide key inputs into the annual operating plan including owning cluster initiatives from the innovation pipeline and marketing programs
- Commercial decision support: evaluate and challenge pricing, trade spend, and customer opportunities to optimise ROI and payback.
- Own business cases: partner with Marketing on innovation, renovation and value engineering projects and track post-launch performance.
- Executive reporting and storytelling: deliver clear, decision-ready insights for MPR and key stakeholders.
- Cross-functional performance improvement: partner with Sales, Marketing and Operations to improve margin through mix, cost, losses, and portfolio initiatives. Finance standards and controls: ensure disciplined governance, compliance and adherence to company policies. What you'll bring
- 5+ year’s minimum work experience that complements financial training; experience in FCMG
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other numerical discipline
- CA/CPA or equivalent is desirable
- Ability to business partner with head of clusters to drive both the long- and short-term delivery of the P&L;
- Ability to independently originate ideas and drive to outcomes by coordinating across multiple functions (sales, marketing, revenue management, operations)
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen to assess data and arrive at root cause, with ability to succinctly explain key drivers to senior audience
- Systems knowledge PowerBI, Demantra, JDE, IRI UNIFY highly regarded
