Childcare Centre Manager in Oak Park (Victoria)

Centre Manager / Nominated Supervisor We are a new childcare centre located in Oak Park VIC. We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor to lead the team and foster a friendly community. Location: Oak Park VIC Job type: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: Fixed shift Commute: Reliable commute to Oak Park VIC or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Work authorization: Australia (Preferred) Responsibilities:
- Marketing
- Managing the day‑to‑day operations of a long day‑care service, in line with centre policies and procedures
- Providing leadership and guidance to all educators
- Managing all operational requirements of the service, including occupancy, wage management, rostering and budgeting costs
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all stakeholders (children, educators, families, community and Approved Provider)
- Recruiting, inducting, supporting and mentoring new educators
- Committing to ongoing learning and self‑development Qualifications and requirements:
- Previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor
- A Diploma in Children Services or a degree in early childhood
- A current Working with Children Check, child protection and first aid
- Organised and able to multi‑task
- Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and the Rating and Assessment process
- Strong understanding of child‑safe standards
- Strong communication, leadership and management skills
- Passion for achieving the best quality of education and care with educators and the community for children and families
- Knowledge of CCS, ACCS, Qikkids & Educa (preferred, not essential)
- Excellent written, computer and communication skills
- Bright, friendly and energetic
