As a Doctor in the Air Force, you’ll provide the highest standards of patient care and lead teams in a variety of unique environments. You’ll be an integral part of the Defence Health System, providing a diverse range of services including the long-term monitoring of Air Force and other ADF members' physical and mental health. Your duties may include:
- medical care to military members and the civilian community
- providing occupational and aviation medical advice
- supervising, leading and managing other health roles and subordinate members
- maintaining medical documentation
- liaising with non ADF medical agencies
- planning, coordinating and performing aeromedical evacuations, in the tactical, operational, and strategic environments
- long-term monitoring of members' physical and mental fitness

- Travel opportunities Salary Upon completion of initial military and employment training, you will enjoy a salary package starting from $138,979. Location Following training, you may be posted to one of the major Air Force bases around Australia, such as RAAF Base Amberley or Williamtown.
