Kitchen Hand – Treetop Early Learning We are situated on Epsom Road with onsite parking and close to public transport. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. The centre has 8 rooms ranging from babies to kindergarten, licensed for 142 children. Key Responsibilities Support and work closely with the Centre Chef, assisting in the planning and preparation of meals. Handle ordering, unboxing, cleaning, and all duties required in the kitchen. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of allergies and food intolerances, and continue to develop knowledge through training. Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety. Communicate effectively with children and team members, contributing to a warm, collaborative setting. Desired Experience & Qualifications Relevant experience and passion for working in a childcare setting. Food Handling Safety Certificate and Food Allergens Certificate. Time-management and strong organisational skills. Excellent hygiene and cleanliness practices. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and adhere strictly to dietary requirements. Valid Working Rights and Children's Check (or other required training at Treetop).
