Event Manager (Fixed Term Or Contractor) (Victoria)

We're building a strong, stable contractor pool of Event Managers to support upcoming and future projects across our key event markets. This Expression of Interest is intentionally open to various experience levels (from early career to highly experienced) with responsibilities scaled to suit capability and background. About the role These Event Manager opportunities will sit across multiple projects and clients, with scope and expectations adjusted depending on experience. You'll play a key role in delivering end‐to‐end event experiences, from concept through to live delivery, working closely with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities Depending on level, responsibilities may include: Leading concept creation, innovation and custom event design for TGI Event‐based clients Leading and presenting client pitches, WIPs and campaign reporting End‐to‐end budget ownership and financial management, ensuring projects are delivered to scope, budget and timelines Managing procurement, production, logistics and operational delivery Engaging and managing a wide network of event suppliers, including onboarding new suppliers where required Delivering live events including: Creative design and theming Customer journey planning Project plans and run sheets Site management (bump‐in / bump‐out) Oversight of risk management and compliance, including supplier documentation, inductions and permits Ensuring events meet relevant Australian Risk Management and WHS Standards Building, maintaining and retaining strong client relationships About you We're open to diverse backgrounds and career journeys. You might come from an agency, rights holder, in‐stadium, or event supplier environment. Sport experience is a bonus, but not essential! You'll also bring: Strong experience delivering end‐to‐end event builds (stadiums, greenfield sites, brand activations) Confidence managing budgets, stakeholders and suppliers Experience with AV, production overlays and creative‐led activations High attention to detail, especially in budget and client management A proactive, flexible and solutions‐focused mindset Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and clients Why submit an EOI?
