Jobs - Folding Machine Operator (Victoria)

Marvel is Australia's premier bookbinding, finishing house! We are looking for a skilled Folder Operator to join our busy print finishing team. This role is suited to someone with 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating commercial folding machines, specifically MBO or Stahl folders. About the Role: You will be responsible for:
- Setting up and operating MBO and Stahl folding machines to complete a variety of folding jobs, including signature folding for bookbinding and general finishing work.
- Reading and following detailed job tickets and specifications.
- Performing regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Carrying out minor maintenance and troubleshooting to keep machines running smoothly.
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace. We are located in West Heidelberg, Victoria and the hours are 6am to 2pm
- Mon to Fri with plenty of overtime available. What we are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years' experience on MBO or Stahl folders.
- Solid understanding of folding processes and bookbinding requirements.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on high-quality results.
- Reliable, punctual, and a good communicator.
