Range Operator – Lone Pine Barracks, Singleton We invite applications to join Downer’s permanent workforce as a Range Operator at Lone Pine Barracks – Singleton, NSW. The role supports the Range Supervisor by maintaining range facilities, ensuring site security, and upholding compliance with range standing orders and safety procedures. Responsibilities
- Support the Range Supervisor by managing basic maintenance and operation of range facilities and ensuring site security.
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and upkeep of training areas and ranges.
- Provide safety checks and compliance to relevant standards.
- Deliver specialist training area and range performance.
- Provide input into reporting to support the Range Supervisor. Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience with facilities maintenance, minor repairs, and caretaker responsibilities.
- Range Induction Course (desirable).
- Medium Rigid Truck Licence (desirable).
- Current open driver’s licence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship is mandatory).
- Requirement to complete relevant Public Safety Training Package units. Benefits
