**About the position**

The Rural Health Innovation Lab at La Trobe University is dedicated to addressing critical health and education challenges in rural and regional communities through innovative, multidisciplinary approaches. This role is part of a partnership between the Lab and the School of Education, focusing on a groundbreaking project that seeks to design, pilot, and evaluate an interdisciplinary school-based placement model. The project aims to undertake a scoping review of existing placement models and use the insights gained to inform the development of a current, scalable model that integrates multidisciplinary teams of health and education students into schools requiring additional support.

Under the guidance of Professor Miriam Tanti, Dr. Scott Alterator, and Dr. Brad Hodge, and working closely with an interdisciplinary team, the role involves leading key components of the scoping review, collaborating with schools and community partners, and ensuring the model’s design is informed by robust evidence and best practices.

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for this position, you will have:

- Evidence of effective research project management, particularly in education or interprofessional settings.
- Holder of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Education or a health-related discipline.
- Experience in designing and conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research, including data collection and analysis, and conducting systematic literature reviews.
- Proven ability to synthesize data from diverse sources and translate findings into impactful publications.
- Strong communication skills across written, verbal, and interpersonal channels, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders.
