About us The Portable Long Service Authority (the Authority) is a self‐funded statutory body established to administer the Long Service Advantages Portability Act****. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations**** provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Authority plays an key role in allowing workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries to build up long service benefits based on time in their industry rather than with a single employer. About the role The Manager, Information Technology has responsibility for the management of the Authority's Information Technology core systems and support staff, Business Analysis, and Reporting functions. The role provides leadership and direction to the team and is responsible for managing relationships with key service providers to enable the organisation to be efficient and effective, and that IT systems meet the needs of the Authority. The role provides strategic direction ensuring data is appropriately protected and that required compliance activities are completed.
