We care for parks, reserves and marine environments along the Great Ocean Road, including internationally recognised visitor sites. Working closely with Traditional Owners, communities and stakeholders, we protect environmental, cultural and heritage values while supporting sustainable visitation and long‐term conservation. Join the team at the iconic Twelve Apostles Visitor Precinct and help deliver memorable visitor experiences in one of Australia's most breathtaking natural locations. As a Retail Team Member , you'll provide friendly, productive, and knowledgeable service while supporting daily retail operations. From assisting customers and maintaining store presentation to supporting sales and stock processes, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and seamless visitor experience. This casual role may also involve supporting other GORCAPA sites, including caravan parks and Cape Otway Lightstation. What you'll do Deliver warm, engaging customer service and provide helpful product recommendations Support sales transactions, including POS operations, returns, and promotions Assist with receiving stock, replenishment, stocktakes, and stockroom organisation Maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing retail environment Help manage customer flow during busy periods with professionalism Prepare beverages and light food items in line with food safety standards Follow all safety, compliance, and operational procedures Escalate customer concerns or issues to supervisors when required Contribute to a positive team environment and continuous improvement What we're looking for Experience in retail, hospitality, tourism, or a similar customer‐facing role Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment and adapt to changing demands Good attention to detail with merchandising and store presentation A proactive, reliable, and team‐focused attitudeWillingness to learn POS systems and operational processes You'll also need to be able to obtain or provide National Police Check Working with Children Check Evidence of Australian working rights A current Australian Driver's Licence Why work with us Work at one of Australia's most iconic tourist destinations Be part of a passionate team delivering exceptional visitor experiences Gain experience across retail and tourism operations Enjoy a supportive, cooperative workplace environment Contribute to protecting and showcasing Victoria's unique coastal landscapes Everyone is welcome at the Authority.
