About the Client One of Australia's leading footwear suppliers, with successful operations in Australian and around the world are seeking experienced Machine Operators to join their brand-new Dandenong South Facility. About the Role A leading manufacturer of rubber footwear and industrial shoes: This is a hands-on machine operating / production role working with rubber extrusion and die press machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position involves operating machinery across multiple stages — from raw material preparation through to extrusion, pressing, finishing, and packing. Day Shift times: 08:*******:00 Afternoon Shift times: 16:00
- Midnight Key Duties Responsibilities Preparing raw materials for production processes Operating rubber extrusion machines, die press machinery Moving products between machines throughout the production process Assisting with mould setups, changeovers, and machine adjustments Conducting visual quality inspections on finished products Cleaning and preparing products for dispatch Performing manual handling and general production duties Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Recent Machine Operator Exp within manufacturing environment Beneficial: Experience within rubber industry , textile manufacturing , or extrusion processes Ability to work with rubber extrusion and die press machinery Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills Reliability, valuable attention to detail, and a strong focus on quality Ability to perform manual handling tasks, stand for extended periods A strong commitment to workplace health and safety What We Offer Ongoing casual positions (with view to permanent) Attractive hourly rate + overtime opportunities On-the-job training and development Supportive team culture CoreStaff is a leader in workplace diversity and we encourage applications from Indigenous Australians for all roles, females for non-traditional female roles, and applicants with disabilities to apply for all of our jobs.
