Position The Luther Court Society is seeking a full- or part‑time Family Physician (FP) to assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic disease. Responsibilities include troubleshooting communication, prescribing, ordering diagnostics, performing minor surgeries, managing chronic illness and end‑of‑life care, and referring patients to specialists. The physician will also support preventive care through call backs, screenings, risk assessments, and population health education. Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose acute and chronic illnesses.
- Prescribe and refill medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
- Perform minor surgical procedures.
- Manage chronic disease and end‑of‑life care.
- Refer patients to specialists and specialty programs as needed.
- Carry out or support preventive care (call backs, screenings, risk assessments).
- Provide population‑health education to individuals, families, and communities. Qualifications
- Medical degree and family physician certification.
- Experience in providing primary care to diverse demographics, especially seniors and mental‑health populations.
- Knowledge of elder care and mental‑health management.
- Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team. Advantages & Perks
