- Discretional training budget Job Overview The Client Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for building and retaining the Company’s business services client base, with the goal of increasing the number of clients served and client fees recovered. This role would suit a professional accountant who has managed a team / client fee base but would like to transition from the technical fee work to full-time business development and client relationships. Responsibilities
- Following-up leads, referrals and new / existing client enquiries, submitted directly or through the Company’s retail office network, website and call centre.
- Engage in outbound calls and emails to provide information to potential clients on the range of services provided by the Company.
- Providing pricing and quotations to the new / existing client enquiries, based on service requirements and Company pricing policy.
- Managing existing client year on year re-engagements and improving retention rates.
- Achievement of revenue targets, and growth and retention of client base.
- Account management of clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Experience and Qualifications
- Qualifications: An accounting degree and a member of CPA or CAANZ.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a public accounting practice.
- Up to-date experience in all facets of accounting, tax accounting and associated matters.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and/or with a team.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and eager to seize opportunities for growth.
- Value driven and proactive with positive attitude.
- High standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism.
- RTA and / or having managed a qualified team and / or client fee base highly regarded.
