Overview Chambers Russell Lawyers is a fast-growing firm with its head office located in the Sydney CBD. We practice across commercial, construction, civil litigation, debt-recovery, insurance, personal injury, strata and property law. About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated legal practice administrator to join our personal injury team in our Robina office. Previous personal injury experience would be advantageous but not essential. In this role you will be provided with the opportunity to learn from our talented senior staff members and grow in your role within this supportive team environment.
This exciting role will see you assisting members of your allocated team and working with the wider personal injury team to provide seamless support across the business. You will be enthusiastic and pragmatic in your approach, possess excellent communication skills and have a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills. Key Duties In this Legal Practice Administrator
- Personal Injury role, your day-to-day duties may include:
- Opening and closing matters;
- Diary management;
- Preparing briefs and Court books;
- Drafting general correspondence and Court documents;
- Proof reading and formatting complex documents;
- Direct client calls and client liaison;
- Conducting searches;
- Legal research tasks;
- Providing other general support to Partners, Lawyers and Paralegals as required. Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum one year previous experience as a personal assistant, team assistant or legal assistant within the legal industry, ideally in the personal injury area;
- Excellent attention to detail together with strong verbal and written communication skills;
- A willingness to learn, positive approach and strong initiative;
- Advanced skills in the MS Office suite (specifically Word, Excel & Power Point). What distinguishes us
