Job Description The role sits within an experienced finance team of professionals. The roles include:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Prepare and lodge BAS and other compliance reporting.
- Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations. The Successful Applicant A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- A degree or qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
