Conveniently located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, our new state-of-the-art facility, purpose-built for designing and manufacturing rockets in-house, is equipped with the latest technology and tools, providing an ideal environment for innovation and excellence.

How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space: The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do:
- Design custom hardware and maintain a design justification file.
- Design, test, verify and validate structures, for flight, test and GSE using various engineering tools (FEA, CAD, test equipment etc).
- Review existing specifications, ICDs and other data to develop mechanical designs.
- Develop manufacturing specifications (2D and 3D drawings) incorporating an understanding of GD&T; with supporting tolerancing analysis as applicable.
- Analyse, interpret and provide conclusions on data collected during testing.
- Other duties as requested by management. Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 1+ years of Mechanical or Structural design and Drafting Experience (including internships or personal projects).
- Permanent Resident of Australia.

- Ability to manage large assembly models and drawings in an NX CAD environment.
- Solid understanding and application of GD&T.;
- Experience working in project teams such as Formula SAE, Hybrid Electric Vehicle, University Rocketry Clubs or Cube Sat Clubs and university projects.
- Ability to work well in an integrated team including daily interactions with technicians, engineers, and managers.
- Creative problem solver that can bring multiple disciplines together.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, communication and documentation skills.
