About the role
Precision Palms Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. As a full-time Cabinet Maker or contract installer, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom furniture and cabinetry using the latest techniques and tools. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our thriving business.
What you'll be doing
Interpreting design plans and specifications to create custom cabinets, shelves, and other furniture pieces
Operating a variety of woodworking machinery and tools with a high degree of skill and precision
Ensuring all work meets safety standards and quality control requirements
Collaborating with the design team to bring client visions to life
Performing regular maintenance and upkeep of workshop equipment
Providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker both site and factory, preferably in a similar commercial or residential setting
Excellent knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and machinery
Robust problem-solving and critical thinking skills to overcome design challenges
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Robust communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the worksite
