Utilise your strong administrative expertise to contribute to the governance and delivery of critical infrastructure programs.
- Full time 6-month temporary contract
- Located in Nerang. Excellent hourly rate.
- Strong administrative skills essential Our client is a large state government department requiring someone on a temporary 6-month contract to play a key role in supporting effective program and project governance through high-quality reporting, analysis, and coordination. You will provide valuable insights and advice across governance frameworks, financial performance, risk management, and program delivery to support informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare agendas, minutes, and documentation for program boards, steering committees, and leadership meetings
- Analyse financial, risk, and project performance data to support governance decision-making
- Develop and maintain dashboards tracking risks, budget, performance, and compliance
- Support monthly program updates and reporting using tools such as 3PCM
- Provide governance advice to project teams to ensure consistency and compliance
- Monitor and report on Government Election Commitments (GECs)
- Contribute to reporting for Federal Government requirements
- Review and improve reporting processes, including Indigenous reporting accuracy
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties in line with governance and procurement frameworks To be successful, you will be a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders. You thrive in a fast-paced project environment and are passionate about improving governance practices. You will bring:
- Strong experience in governance, reporting, or project/program support roles
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Experience preparing high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines Desirable:
- Experience with Power BI or advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience supporting technical or governance meetings and boards Mandatory Requirements:
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
