Senior Communications Advisor Gold Coast

Our client URGENTLY requires a Senior Communications Advisor for a 7 months + Contract in Nerang.

The Senior Communications Advisor will provide external engagement services for South Coast Region on external community engagement, public affairs, correspondence, media relations, issues management, and internal and external stakeholder relationship management across a major infrastructure program.

You will represent the interests of the department, and its stakeholders in all forums that actively engage with members of the public.

Skills and Experience required includes: A degree in communications, public relations or marketing or equivalent years of work experience would be highly desirable.

Implement active community engagement, community relations and correspondence program by supporting the delivery of consistent and externally facing engagement and stakeholder management to a broad range of community stakeholders across the region.

Lead and coach a small team of customer and stakeholder staff to produce explicit, concise and consistent high-quality collateral and information.

Experience in major infrastructure project environments and social media competency, will also be highly regarded.

Government experience would be highly advantageous.
