Founded by Ryan Moody, one of Australia's most experienced fishing guides with over 30 years on the water, we create and sell world-class online fishing courses covering everything from sounder skills to barramundi, mud crab, and offshore fishing. We operate two websites (authority site and course delivery platform), a 95,000 contact email list, active Facebook and Instagram communities, a growing You Tube channel, blog, newsletter and multiple funnels and launches across paid and organic traffic. Over the past 12 years we've built a genuinely successful business with a strong audience and solid foundations. What we're now building is stronger operational visibility, accountability, KPI management, and performance alignment across the business. Our revenue is driven by launches, not a shopping cart. Our primary asset is a 95,000 contact email list, not a product catalogue. We acquire customers through content and paid social, deliver courses through a membership platform, and manage active student communities.

If that mission resonates with you, this role will too. The Role We're looking for a Digital Operations & Performance Manager to own the day-to-day operational running of the business. This role sits at the centre of the business and connects marketing, systems, reporting, customer experience, launches, team accountability, and operational execution. You will work closely with the founders and Marketing Manager to ensure the business is tracking the right metrics, focused on the right priorities, aligned around transparent targets, and operating from reliable data. You won't just be managing tasks or coordinating projects. You'll help operationalise performance across the business through KPI tracking, operational accountability, reporting rhythms, CRM visibility, launch coordination, systems oversight, and problem-solving. The founders focus on strategy, product, and direction. You ensure the business operates effectively day-to-day. What Success Looks Like in This Role Within the first 6 to 12 months:
- The business has a clear CEO dashboard with meaningful KPIs and targets
- Weekly operational meetings are structured and outcome-focused
- Team members understand priorities and are accountable to measurable outcomes
- Funnel and launch performance are more visible and measurable
- CRM and tracking data are more reliable and actionable
- Founders have better visibility over revenue drivers, operational bottlenecks, and profitability
- Problems are surfaced early and followed through to resolution
- The business is operating with less /"spray and pray/" and more clarity, focus, and accountability What You'll Own Operational performance and accountability

- Running weekly KPI and operational reporting rhythms
- Maintaining visibility across the business and identifying bottlenecks early
- Driving accountability around targets, deadlines, and operational follow-through
- Helping prioritise work based on business impact
- Supporting hiring decisions and performance management — identifying when roles need to change and helping put the right people in the right seats KPI dashboards and reporting

- Building and maintaining a meaningful CEO dashboard
- Tracking performance trends across marketing, launches, operations, and customer experience
- Helping the founders understand what is and isn't moving revenue and profit Financial visibility

- Monthly P&L; review preparation with the founders and bookkeeper
- Tracking costs against budget
- Flagging issues, variances, and operational concerns early Systems and customer journey oversight

- Overseeing CRM, automations, tracking, and operational systems
- Sign-off on all new pages, sequences, and automations before they go live
- Ensuring funnels, automations, customer journeys, and launches function properly end-to-end
- Testing workflows and coordinating fixes where needed Launch coordination

- Coordinating operational execution of launches and campaigns alongside the Marketing Manager
- Ensuring launches are properly tracked, measured, and reviewed Team accountability

- Coordinating a small remote team across support, admin, and operational functions
- Ensuring follow-through and delivery standards are maintained Business systems

- SOPs, Asana, Google Drive, contractor oversight
- Ongoing process improvement and operational efficiency You're the Right Person If You

- Have worked inside an online education, digital products, coaching, or SaaS business — you understand launch-based revenue, email-driven acquisition, and course delivery
- Understand how marketing, systems, reporting, and operations connect together commercially
- Have experience creating and managing KPI dashboards, operational reporting, or accountability systems
- Can confidently work with CRMs like Ontraport, Active Campaign, Klaviyo, Hub Spot, or similar — and understand what good data looks like regardless of the platform
- Understand digital tracking well enough to spot when data doesn't add up
- Can read a P&L; and connect numbers to operational decisions
- Are proactive and commercially minded
- Naturally bring structure, visibility, and follow-through
- Are comfortable being both strategic and hands-on
- Have supported or led hiring and performance management decisions in a small team
- Use AI tools confidently to improve efficiency and operational workflows
- Communicate clearly with non-technical founders Bonus Points For

- Direct experience with Ontraport, Word Press, Woo Commerce, Learn Dash, GA4, or Meta Ads
- Experience inside an online education or creator-led business
- Experience improving operational visibility or KPI reporting inside a growing business
- Experience managing launches, funnels, or lifecycle marketing operations

- Relevant qualification in business, operations, IT, or related field — or equivalent demonstrated experience
