Shift Supervisor - Warehouse (Gold Coast)

Exodas is a well-established and growing transport and logistics company carrying general and refrigerated freight. Based at our Head Office in Yatala you will lead a team of forklift operators/yard-hands dealing with a variety of sensitive freight in refrigerated trailers and tautliner trailers. The role:
- Tuesday to Friday 9.30am until finish (approx. 5.30pm
- 6.00pm)
- Saturday 6.00am until finish (approx. midday
- 2.00 pm) About you:
- Strong time management and communication skills are imperative as ensuring loading and unloading deadlines are met is a critical aspect of this role
- Team leadership is a key requirement
- Ability to plan and delegate is essential
- Experience with refrigerated freight is highly desired
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Knowledge of appropriate load restraint equipment and techniques
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to problem solve
- Sound literacy and numeracy This is not a hands off role. From time to time you will be assisting your team, helping each other load and secure freight to ensure timeframes are met.
