Maintenance Electrician (Gold Coast)

Marland Mushrooms QLD is a leading mushroom producer supplying major supermarkets from our purpose-built facility in Stapylton. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Electrician for a full-time permanent position, Monday
- Thursday 2 pm starts (approx). Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on mushroom compost filling machines and associated site equipment. Ensure filling equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and consistently. Perform preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and production interruptions. Respond promptly to equipment faults and breakdowns to minimise downtime. Work closely with the Production Manager to support daily operations and production targets. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across equipment and processes. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards. Qualifications and Experience Qualified Electrician with a Certificate IV level qualification. Must hold Certificate IV electrical qualification as a minimum requirement. Strong experience in maintenance within a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical faults. Proactive, hands-on approach with solid problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with production teams. Must be Australian permanent resident or citizen. Minimum 2+ years in a similar role in a food manufacturing environment (preferred). Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing HACCP and GMP standards.
