Role Overview GCCC Labour Hire Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and resilient Residential Care Officer (RCO) to provide high-level support within our disability residential group homes. This role requires a "no-nonsense" approach to quality standards and a genuine commitment to person-centred support. 2. Key Responsibilities Active Support: Deliver hands-on support with daily living activities (personal care, nutrition, and medication) while actively fostering resident independence. Plan Implementation: Execute and document Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) with precision and empathy. Community Drive: Facilitate community integration by transporting and supporting residents in social, vocational, and recreational activities. Operational Excellence: Maintain an airtight home environment. You are responsible for the "bricks and mortar"—identifying maintenance needs and ensuring the property remains a high-standard residence. Airtight Reporting: Complete all progress notes, incident reports, and NDIS compliance documentation accurately and in real-time. 3. Essential Criteria Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a residential / disabilities or group home setting (Disability or Mental Health). Qualifications: Certificate 3 + in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent. Clearances: ◦ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check. ◦ Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check). ◦ First Aid & CPR Certificates (must be current).
