We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative **Veterinary Development Manager** to join our growing Support Office team. This is a pivotal role for a veterinarian who is eager to shape the future of patient care, enhance clinic performance, and nurture professional growth across our expanding network.

**About the Role**

As our Veterinary Development Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering clinical growth and continuous improvement across our Vets Central clinics. Reporting directly to our Chief Veterinary Officer, you will be the driving force behind enhancing our standards of patient care, improving clinic efficiency and profitability, and building the clinical capability of our incredible teams.

**What You'll Be Doing**

You will play a vital role in our Support Office, driving initiatives related to:

- ** Clinical Standards and Patient Care**: Elevating the quality of veterinary services and patient outcomes.
- ** Clinic Efficiency and Profitability**: Identifying and implementing strategies to optimise operational performance and financial health.
- ** Veterinary Talent Development**: Cultivating a strong, skilled, and engaged team through robust development and mentorship programmes.
- ** Operational Integration**: Ensuring seamless implementation of best practices and new services across our network.
- ** Clinical Governance and Compliance**: Supporting adherence to the highest qualified and regulatory standards.

**What We're Looking For**
- ** A Registered Veterinarian**: Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with current, unrestricted veterinary registration in Australia or Recent Zealand. User’s licence for Ionising Radiation and Microchipping where applicable.
- ** Experienced Leader**: Minimum 4 years’ experience in a veterinary leadership role, with a demonstrated focus on development and improvement.
- ** Clinical Excellence**: Outstanding veterinary knowledge and a steadfast commitment to high standards of patient care.
- ** Collaborative & Influential**: Exceptional collaboration and team building skills, coupled with high emotional intelligence and proven coaching/mentoring abilities.
- ** Analytical & Strategic**: Strong financial acumen, confidence in reporting and systems, and proven analytical skills to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- ** Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse teams.
