The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Dietitian
- Advanced (Gastroenterology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Develop and define current and future gastroenterology referral pathways to improve and enhance the continuum of care for gastroenterology patients Develop strategic direction in gastroenterology nutrition in accordance with district planning and state-wide priorities Provide professional leadership and responsibility for the development of dietetic clinical practices, procedures and protocols Represent Nutrition and Food Services department as a consultant and resource person

About you

To be successful in this position you will require: Tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Nutrition and Dietetics Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Working with Childrens Check (GCH will cover cost) Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

Temporary full time (9 months with the possibility of extension) Base salary ranging from $5 557.50
- $5 798.90 per fortnight
