Regional Manager (Gold Coast)

Key Outcomes and Accountabilities

**The aim of this role is to**:

- Actively seek out, establish, manage and maintain relationships with regional stakeholders including but not limited to: Industry associations, community groups, consumers, suppliers, local and other associated government agencies, emergency services etc. Leverage off industry relationships and advocate the QBCC along with its range products and services, and how these will best serve its customers.
- In partnership with the appropriate internal education and engagement stakeholders, assist in the development, implementation and ongoing support of an annual events strategy that will not only deliver a heightened awareness of the QBCC and its services; but also maintain valuable external relationships through industry change education and career development programs across the State.
- Research, review, analyse and prepare reports to provide guidance on matters that may be contentious and/or technically complex in nature, with reference to applicable Building Legislation, Australian Standards and Manufacturer's Recommendations.
- Establish, develop and grow customer and stakeholder awareness through the advocacy of the QBCC's regulatory functions, whilst providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
- As a senior leader within the organisation, it is expected that you will personally espouse all QBCC's chartered behaviours whilst holding all other staff and peers to account for the same.
