Our client specialises in Civil Contracting and Project Management services for government, development and resource sector clients, working on public and private infrastructure projects and wants an Operations Manager to drive and elevate the company into its next evolution!

**About The Role**: In this role you will be responsible for:

- Being the one of the cornerstone leaders in our success, enabling us to deliver exceptional projects and exceed client expectations.
- Developing and implementing business strategies to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
- Building and maintaining robust relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Leading and managing the performance of a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and development.
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
- Developing and maintaining a positive company culture and ensuring that staff are motivated and engaged.
- Monitoring market trends and adjusting strategies as necessary to stay competitive.
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Providing regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders on the performance of the business.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field
- 10+ years’ experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in a high-level managerial leadership position
- Strong financial management skills including experience developing and managing budgets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, employees, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and drive standards.
