Full‐time position based in Ashmore, with an immediate start available. This is a newly created role designed to support the branch's rapid growth. As the Inventory Controller at Tradelink Ashmore, you'll take ownership of stock accuracy, purchasing, and reporting to keep the branch operating smoothly and efficiently. You'll work closely with Branch Manager, gaining hands‐on training and becoming the go‐to expert for all things inventory. What You'll Be Doing: Own daily purchasing for trade and project orders
- keeping stock moving and customers happy. Coordinate project procurement and ensure on‐time delivery. Maintain accurate inventory with regular cycle counts and annual stocktakes. Balance stock levels to avoid shortages and reduce excess costs. Produce clear reports and track inventory performance. Work closely with the Branch Manager and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams. Keep documentation sharp and processes compliant. You'll Bring: Strong inventory, purchasing, or stock management experience. Excellent attention to detail, numeracy and reporting skills. Strong computer literacy and confidence with systems/data entry. The ability to work independently for long periods while still contributing to the team. A hands‐on mindset, comfortable stepping in to help across the branch. Reliability, accountability, and a friendly, low‐ego personality that suits the culture. Industry experience (plumbing/trade wholesale) is advantageous, but not essential. You are an Australian/New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident. You have full Australian working rights as sponsorship will not be offered for this role.
