The team at Little Miss Muffin is seeking a Kitchen hand to help make our delicious products! Experience isn't necessary but would be advantageous. Pay dependent on experience.

: Casual Kitchen Hand

Location

: Southport, QLD,

Hours

: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Hours available

: Minimum 20hrs per week but may be more in peak periods

Language Requirement

: Must be fluent in English

Transport

: Having own transport is an advantage

Experience

: Prior experience is beneficial but not mandatory

Physical Fitness

: Must be able to lift 20kg

Personal Hygiene

: Must maintain high standards of personal cleanliness

Work Ethic

: Must be self-managed, highly motivated with a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

Prepare batches of ingredients according to predetermined recipes to meet production schedule demands.

Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and pastry tools under the guidance of experienced staff.

Support team members in various manufacturing tasks to meet production goals.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.

Assist in inventory management by stocking ingredients and supplies and notifying management when stocks are running low.

Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times to ensure the safety and quality of our products.

Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete tasks and contribute to a positive work workplace.

We may also assign you other duties, where reasonable for your position, training and experience.
