Multi-Disciplinary Scientist (Gold Coast)

Applications are invited for a full-time Laboratory Scientist to join our Pindara laboratory team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a energetic, multidisciplinary environment supporting high-quality diagnostic services and patient care. Participation in a 24-hour, 7-day rolling roster, including public holidays, is a requirement of this position. In recognition of the demands of shift work, scientists working the 24/7 roster under the terms and conditions of the CWA receive an additional week of annual leave, as well as a 75% shift loading for hours worked between midnight and 5:00am. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and specialised diagnostic testing across Haematology, Biochemistry, Blood Banking, STAT Microbiology, and Molecular Pathology Run, monitor, and interpret quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) processes Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment Analyse, interpret, and report results in accordance with laboratory standards Adhere to WHS protocols and safety requirements Assist with inventory and stock management What we are looking for We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Laboratory Scientist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality results.
